I am trying to get the blob of the last downloaded file using the background script of my Firefox Extension but I am getting the same error again and again i.e. Security Error: Content at moz-extension://03a985fd-d9c4-7e46-8ad1-0272b6c103af/_generated_background_page.html (url of my extension) may not load or link to file:///Users/amandeep/Downloads/demoform1(16).pdf (path of the last downloaded file). I have read many articles but none of them gives me any idea to do it. Please reply soon if anyone has a solution for it.

Did you contact the extension maker about it? Extension issues aren't a FF end user help from problem.

Try to ask advice at the Addons forum if this is your own extension.
