Hi -- I need a browser with Silverlight to access an application. I have downloaded 52.0.2 ESR -- 64-bit, the version that I am directed to use. I am wondering if Silverlight support will return to new versions of Firefox ESR?

Hello JonSandy,

The only browser that (still) supports Silverlight is Internet Explorer.

Please see :

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Silverlight

If you need Silverlight for one application only, and you have IE on your system, you could consider using IE for that application and use the current Firefox version for everything else .....

Or : you could use the portable Firefox 52.9.0 ESR as it will not interfere with your Firefox release version and Profiles (assuming you will be using a supported Windows version and the latest Firefox version).
