Just lost Thunderbird trying to undo the upgrade yesterday

Thunderbird made an upgrade that I did not like. I tried to get rid of it using uninstall program and lost the whole program, all my folder, all my tagged items and current emails today. Have no idea how to reinstall my Thunderbird befor the upgrade ang get all the items back that I lost. I made a biog mistake letting the upgrade happen. have been using Thunderbor since it was developed. Help!!

Why would you want to use an old and less secure version? and please be specific I only know what you tell me and "an upgrade that I did not like" really offers nothing more that a personal opinion, from which you have created a serious issue for yourself.
