There is no such thing as a Thunderbird account so I am not sure what you are trying to do.

Thunderbird is email client software running on your computer. You add the details of the email account that you have with your email provider to Thunderbird and then use Thunderbird to manage your email account.

Email accounts come from email providers. Thunderbird is not a provider.
