Before I read the warning and recognized the difference between w3schools and w3.org, I downloaded some really cool templates, I now understand why I had so many problems with just trying to edit one page. I am a learner, my personal project is well behind schedule so I won't be using them for the project I picked them for, but if I choose to use them for another project how would I fix a really good template from the not so good original authors and customize it successfully?

Hello ivgreene,

This is a forum for help with Mozilla products like for example Firefox.

I'd advise you to ask this question on places like for example Stack Overflow.

For info about web stuff like HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc. i recommend you to pay a visit to MDN

Thank you for responding so quickly and early. I asked on this forum because I use Firefox the majority of the time and it's developer's tools so I thought maybe someone has encountered the same issue at some point and maybe had some insight. Thanks for the lead though.
