Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to change the default title displayed on the "authentication popup" dialog box requesting a user to enter their security credentials. The current title is "Authentication Required" which is generic, I need to create a title unique to the application that is generating this popup.

I doubt you can change that. What software are you having issue to cause this?

To the best of my knowledge, no you can't manually specify the authentication dialog title. This dialog is created and handled by the browser, so there's not a whole lot that a website developer can do to override the default title.

Your best option is probably to redirect unauthenticated users to a login webpage. You would have full control over the appearance and behavior of that page.

Hi,

The issue is that I am creating an application profile through the Imprivata OneSign application. This application allows you to automate logon for users credentials when they start up an application or click on a URL. In building an application profile Onesign will capture popups and logon screens. The problem is the OneSign application will enter a user’s logon credentials for a particular application even though the authentication logon popup could be for a different application. So in effect it populates the authentication logon popup with the wrong credentials, this is to generic. If we were to have an authentication screen with the inclusion in the title of the unique name of that application then OneSign would only populate that authentication screen based on its design to populate an applications logon credentials.

Thanks and Regards
