Firefox is an internet browser, not an email provider. You are not required to log into Firefox in order to use it, nor are you required to enter a password.

The only optional service that you can have is a Firefox account, but it's not required. A Firefox account can sync your bookmarks and other data between different computers. However, you will need a valid email address to register for an account.

The only other thing that you would need a password for is a Master Password to access your saved logins (if you have configured one). For more information on using a Master Password, please refer to Use a Primary Password to protect stored logins and passwords.

Hope this helps.

Hi William, you can access your Gmail Inbox in Firefox using the regular address:

https://mail.google.com/mail/

If you need to log in, the page will redirect you to the login page.

Does that work for you?

The next step might be to save your Google account login in either Firefox's built-in password manager, or in an add-on password manager. However, if you want the least risk of someone else accessing your account, then logging in by hand is safest. Let us know if you need help with this part.
