Can't pin sites to the taskbar

I used to be able to pin a page to the taskbar either by right clicking the Firefox icon and selecting the open/recent urls or by dragging the url to the icon. Now neither method works. I don't even see recent urls anymore. I can't find a setting to manage this.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not solve the problem.

Well, it's not just Firefox. It's Windows jump lists... they've all stopped working :-\ What was pinned already is still working. But I cannot add new pins and the recent opens does not show. I'm so happy Microsoft made me "upgrade" from 7 to 10.

not sure if this is where i need to be to ask this but how do i pin Facebook to the task bar or what they call quick launch . using firefox i am on windows 10
