Today i used the WeTransfer function to send a large file via a gmail account. It was a photo of 11mb in size. It uploaded the file and generated the link just fine. I then hit send and it went. But when i looked at the email afterwards in the sent folder, not only did it send the link, it sent the file as an attachment. So i had the link as well as the 11mb file included in the email. I thought the whole point of using WeTransfer was to not include the original attachment in the email, just the link to be able to download it. Is there something I am missing? I checked the options in Thunderbird, but other than the settings for WeTransfer i could not see any option for it.

I am running TB 60.9.0 32bit.

Thanks

I tried it with Box.com and using 2 different emails.. @gmail.com and @runbox.com ... both emails and both wetransfer and box send the photo as an attachment as well as the link. I had a friend who also uses TB and it does the same thing for him. He is on v68 .... it seems when he chooses DropBox it apparently works fine. .. but as i am not on v68 I do not have the dropbox option. I don't want to upgrade because a lot of my plugins will stop working.
