There is no greyed out "Bookmarks" when Top Sites show up.

So I took a look at "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/manage-bookmark-folders-firefox-android#mobile::m68" and according to the instructions there should be : "Rename or move a Bookmark folder

Go to the Bookmarks panel on your home screen.
Press and hold on the bookmark folder you want to change until the menu appears. "

However there's no greyed out "Bookmarks". It just lists my top sites, when I attempt to type "the" in the browser URL bar. I can only uncheck/check the star to add/remove the bookmark. I, however, need access to my bookmarks from my desktop so I can browse through them.

Firefox synch is working just fine, because I have the bookmarks, and stored passwords show up when I type in Firefox Mobile v68. I just cannot browse to a particular set of bookmarks that I use for reading my magazines. I can only do that from the computer because I never remember the site name.

I also cannot access android history of sites visited.

There's also no "Home" button, so I cannot go to my desired home page.

Hi EMR, could you look at your "Home" settings here:

Firefox for Android menu > Settings > General > Home

Below Panels, Firefox lists Top Sites, Bookmarks, and History. If Bookmarks or History is grayed, tap it to call up a menu and tap Show.

Does that work?

Hi xsyncro, this thread is for the classic Firefox for Android (not the newer Firefox Preview or for Firefox Focus).

When you tap the menu button in Firefox for Android and choose Settings, can you follow the path:

menu > Settings > General > Home

What is listed under Home? Normally you would have this:

  • Homepage
    • Set a Homepage
    • Also use this for new tabs
  • Panels
    • Top Sites
    • Bookmarks
    • History
  • Add-ons
    • Content updates
