I recently installed Firefox as my default browser on my laptop with windows 10. When I try to download an svg file to my computer, it comes in as a Microsoft Edge HTML Document that isn't compatible to my Silhouette Crafting Program. It doesn't give me an option to download from Firefox. I changed to Firefox to get away from Microsoft Edge. I don't know where to find any settings to correct this? What do I need to do? TIA

I'm not sure I completely understand your question. However, if you are simply downloading .svg files from a site that supplies them and using Firefox to do so, you shouldn't have any issues. But if you are having issues, try right-clicking the download link of the file you want to download. Then select 'Save Link As...' and then you can choose where the download goes and you will be able to verify that it is an .svg file.

When I tried to save the svg I got a popup asking which browser to save it to. (Firefox is my default browser.) I clicked on Firefox and always use. But when I opened the download it was Microsoft Edge HTML Document instead of an svg even though Firefox was supposed to download it.
