Firefox Using Too much CPU and RAM

more options

Hello Firefox Team,

I am a huge fan of Firefox and using it from past 10 years. It's now become a part of my life. I am currently using ASUS TUF FX505 DT laptop with Ryzen 5 3550h Processor. 16 GB RAM installed on my laptop and I have enabled the Hardware acceleration.

However, Firefox is hogging too much CPU and RAM. it makes my laptop heated up. So, I have to close Firefox for a sometime and then use it again. The most important thing here is that I am always working with max 4 to 5 tabs open.

I will be very helpful if someone helps me in it. I am using the latest version of Firefox i.e. 82.

This error log is suspicious: "Monitor refresh rate too high".

Try to lower your refresh rate to 60Hz.
