Downloads do not work.

I can't download anything through the browser. Images, PDF's, even the extensions recommended by Firefox. Whenever I try to download something I get an indication that Firefox is trying to download it. Then it always fails and tells me to try again. And then it fails again.

I downloaded chrome to be able to download things. That works. But running two separate browsers to get the basic features of one working browser is an annoying fix.

Hi

Thank you for your question. We do have an update due out later this week that should fix this issue in Firefox for Android.

I don't know if this helps add context or anything. But if I go to addon manager and click the plus sign next to recommended addons the addons are installed no problem. But it does it without saying anything was downloaded?

Hi team,

Thanks for all the work you do on this browser.

I think it would be worth looking into how this issue managed to make it into a stable release. Downloading is really a very basic functionality and i suspect we will have lost quite a few users in the roughly 2 weeks this fix will have taken. (I'm a big FF fan but even I have gone to another browser because of this)
