Past versions of Firefox for android allowed me to automatically see sites in desktop view. I am no longer able to do that and it is a pain in the touche to manually set it for each site. I would prefer to use Firefox becauee of its security and privacy features. But between this issue and a VPN problem, I will use other browsers unless someone has a workaround. Please let me know, if so.

Hi

Thank you for your feedback.

This is a feature that our developers may look to include in a future update. You can follow progress on this work at https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/7039.
