My Thunderbird Ver 78 my unified emails vanish when I mouse over them

more options

Since the new version, my unified emails vanish when I mouse over them and most times don't appear at all , The loading "blue circle " just keeps loading but no emails. In my normal inboxes it's all working ok. But I do like to have the emails come into one folder. I have looked around for answers and see many people have the same problem but can't find a fix. Can I rollback to a previous ver easily?

Chosen solution

In Thunderbird 'View' > 'Folders' > select 'All'

  • 'Help' > 'Troubleshooting Information'
  • click on 'Open Folder' button

a new window opens showing contents of your 'profile name' folder.

  • Exit Thunderbird now - this is important.
  • click on 'Mail' folder

delete the following folder - a new one will be auto created when you restart Thunderbird.

  • 'smart mailboxes' folder

Start Thunderbird. Allow everything to synch etc 'View' > 'Folders' > select 'Unified'
