Hi. I'm opening .msg files in Thunderbird File -> Open -> Saved Message, or by changing the extension from .msg to .eml, but the message opens showing no attachements. If I open it via outlook or online .msg viewer (I used encryptomatic.com/viewer/), the attachements are there. I've tried looking for some extension that would open it, but to no avail. I use LookOut, but it's mostly for decoding broken attachements from Outlook that you recieve directly.

The proprietary MSG file format is not compatible with that used by Thunderbird. I am not aware of any non commercial conversion programs that will convert the proprietary formatted files into something open source.
