Updated after not having done so for a while expecting bug fixes. Got a very unpleasant experience, instead. I don't like the newer version, and want the old version of the UI back.

If possible, please tell me how to enable a tab bar like the old one, that you could scroll side to side, had X's on all the tabs, etc.? How to get the tab grid view to behave like the old one, with the drag and drop to rearrange function? Return the navigation buttons next to the URL bar?

If that cannot be done, then even if absolutely not recommended, please tell me how I can "downgrade" (if that word even really applies here) to the last version with the previous, likeable UI, without losing my history, cookies, etc.?

I had heard the new version was bad sometime last year, but it has been many months since then, and I really expected far better.

Hi,

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

It would not be possible to transfer your cookies to an older version, and could only transfer bookmarks and history through Firefox Sync. You would also risk missing out on important security and stability updates.

I can't even find a help menu, and that link does not seem to lead to a feedback form?

Hi

That link takes you to our new feedback and ideation platform.

Regarding that feedback and ideation platform, I have hit an apparent snag, it appears I can't sign in to it using my Mozilla account.

How can I report a bug about it?

Hi

You will need to set up an account on the CrowdiCity platform to be able to use it.
