What I am needing is a complete, full, two-way sync between Thunderbird and (PUBLIC\non-corporate\non-university) Outlook\Homtail\Microsoft Account mail, contacts and calendar.

By two way sync I mean if I create a contact on my Linux system using Thunderbird, then that contact is going to be also sent and appear on my Windows and Apple devices.

Is complete, full, two-way sync between Thunderbird and a Microsoft Account and iCloud ?

If yes, then is there a detailed, step-by-step how to guide ?

To clarify further, Thunderbird is installed only on Linux. I am using Windows 10 Mail app on Windows and the Apple Mail app on my iPhone.

I want full sync across all these devices without having to change email, calender, contact services and apps.

Is it possible ?

(No way to edit a post here once you've submitted it... LOL). Bad user experience. Even have to search for how to post a question here. Bad user experience.

Sync contacts and calendars with TbSync and the associated add-ons Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV (for icloud) and Provider for Exchange ActiveSync (for outlook.com).

It doesn't work. The sync is only one-way...from Microsoft servers to Thunderbird.

I need full two-way sync.

I added a Hotmail account to TbSync with the autoconfigure option for contacts and calendars. When I added a contact to the address book that was created in Address Book, then synced the account in TbSync, the contact appeared in Contacts opened from the Hotmail website. However, it didn't appear in People that is accessed from the W10 Mail app (which has the Hotmail account).

With the calendar, events added in TB were added to the outlook.com calendar after syncing.

I do not use web\browser based Outlook which is what I clearly stated in my OP.

I am not using the Outlook client either. I am using Outlook\Hotmail and iCloud accounts.

I clearly explained my needs. The sync has to be two-way to Windows Contacts and Calendar apps as well as to iPhone Contacts and Calendar apps.

COMPLETE, FULL, TWO-WAY SYNC. Not partial sync to only the web. I am not going to open web portals on my phones.
