Hello,

I have a problem with a Yahoo account I set up in Thunderbird (using imap). The inbox fails to load new messages. However, I can use Thunderbird to send messages from this account and not only will it send, but the sent message will show up in the Sent folder in Thunderbird. In addition I can search the inbox and find new messages and open them. But the messages won't show up in the inbox folder.

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

OP here. Please disregard the comment about the search. Apparently, I was doing a global search so it was showing the items in the sent folder.

OP here. Solved with an ugly solution. I noticed that if I manually set up the account and set the Root pathway to INBOX, I could get inbox to load new messages. However, it would not show the sent or trash folder (basically the opposite of the original problem). So I simply decided to make two of the same accounts. One account has the inbox only. The second has trash, sent, etc.

(Posted this in case, anyone else runs into this problem. Also, if someone can think of a better fix, please let me know.)
