Changing password for Google/primary email
I am TB user for probably over 15 years and have added email accounts for multiple times and added then to new computers and also my iPhone; however I am by no means an expert. I want to change the password on my Google/primary email account. I read the several messages about finding the place where passwords are stored. Below is a screenshot of a table I made up that shows the table of stored passwords but with no actual passwords. In the original table the O's at the beginning are a little symbol that I don't have on my keyboard. Notice that the password for the secondary email imap and smtp accounts are the passwords I entered on originating the accounts, but the passwords on the oauth accounts are not what I entered when setting up the accounts but a lot of gobbledegook. What are oauth accounts? Why does no imap account show up for the primary email account? It is an imap account is it not? Why doesn't the password I entered for Google and the primary email account show up in the table? If I go into Google and change the password, which I think will change it for both Google and the primary email account, what do I enter in the table in TB in those cells so that I can be in sync with the Google server? Adding this info in edit: running Windows 10 ready for Windows 11, I think TB 91. DCM

Remove all the entries from Saved Passwords, check that the authentication on the incoming and outgoing servers is OAuth2, confirm that cookies are accepted in TB Preferences, restart TB, enter the account password in the OAuth window when asked to allow TB access. If the authentication completes, an oauth:// token will be stored in Saved Passwords. The entries that showed the account passwords were holdovers from when the authentication was 'normal password'.
"check that the authentication on the incoming and outgoing servers is OAuth2" Where do I do that?

Tools/Account Settings, Server Settings and Outgoing Server (SMTP).
