I added a second email account to my Thunderbird. It receives emails just fine, but it doesn't allow me to send emails. It keeps on giving the error message 'Sender address rejected: not owned by user ...' I even made the second email the (Default) in my Outgoing Server settings, but I still get the same error message. Any help will be apricated.

Do you have separate SMTP servers defined for each account. You can check that at tools>account settings and scroll down left pane to Outgoing Servers (SMTP).

Hi David. No, I don't think so. I basically copied my default emails settings. The only thing that is different is the Username, there I put the new email address. How do I define a separate SMTP servers for each account?

You create it at the pane for Outgoing Servers (SMTP). And then you attach it to an account at tools>account settings>account
