Firefox itself and the profile manager do not open, or even send a crash report. It appears to close itself within a frame of being opened. I am not sure what to do to fix this, I have already tried most of the recommended fixes.

Things I have tried: Uninstalling everything firefox and mozilla related, restarting and reinstalling Trying to open the profile menu and make a new profile (The profile menu does the same thing) It is very unlikely to be malware, since the computer is new

I would add troubleshooting information, but I can't access that

If clearing the cookies and cache didn't help, you should check your computer for malware. Certain types of malware are known to target Firefox and can prevent it from loading various websites: If you have an antivirus or Internet security program, update its detections database and do a full scan of your system.

Did you recently uninstall an application that was using Visual C+ runtime components?

You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

See "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022":

You may also have to install the Visual Studio 2013 Redistributable Package. You need to reboot the computer.
