Yes voice recognition software can be used in Firefox, depending on the product (e.g. Google, Apple, Samsung,...) there may be problems because certain companies have not conceptualized their voice recognition for Firefox. For example, Google's Assistant is perfect for Google Chrome, Apple's Siri is perfect for Safari and so on.
