That message appears to refer to Firefox on macOS and not Firefox for iOS (Firefox for iPhone/iPad). This thread can be moved if it is about desktop Firefox on macOS.

Also you are posting with the UA of Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:78.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/78.0 so if you indeed have macOS 10.9 then the latest version you can use is Fx 78.15.0esr as Fx 79.0 and later requires macOS 10.12 (ten.twelve) or later.
