Firefox have developed a problem with Ecosia

I have Ecosia as the default search engine, but lately it won't let me search as it is stuck on a page saying:

Checking your browser before accessing www.ecosia.org. This process is automatic. Your browser will redirect to your requested content shortly. Please allow up to 5 seconds...

This page does not redirect.

This doesn't happen with Brave.

How can I get Firefox to use Ecosia?

I also did a search in safe mode with no issues. see screenshot Who are you using for DNS? Check you network settings. see screenshot Did you try with Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode

I sometimes see this issue when accessing sites that use cloudflare. see screenshot
