After the firefox update, my old passwords are all gone. How do I restore them to the new version of firefox?

NO-problem not solved. These articles are much too involved for the non-computer scientist person to follow. You arbitrarily switched my firefox browser to the mozilla format and I lost all of the stored passwords in firefox. Now you want ME to find them by some complicated means and restore them.

Why were these passwords not automatically transferred with the switch was made? That would have been useful and helpful.

I see no recourse but to restore each password by hand by contacting the site and saying I need to reset my password. This is very time-consuming and very frustrating.

I used to trust Mozilla as being an organization with the customer in mind.

You have lost my trust--in a big way!
