Since yesterday afternoon ( March 26 ), I have been unable to send emails via Thunderbird but I can receive them. When I attempt to send an email I get an error message as shown. Could someone assist me in resolving this problem

Is this a self-hosted email account? The MX record is on the server and is part of the email routing process and is normally well-maintained when securing an account with a major emaip provider. The message indicates you are attempting to send from one IP address, yet the associated MX record disagrees. (A more technical person could give a more thorough response, but this is the gist of it.) I think you may need to pursue this with your email provider.
