Chosen solution

I don't know about IMAP. As I said I use Thunderbird, which does automatic aging, and allows easy archiving and deletion. Is much better than the system at Whitman College, where I was a professor for 40 years. Thanks again for your help – Bob

Is your account IMAP? Does your mail provider have automatic aging and archive or deletion of mail wich them synchronizes to Thunderbird?
