I have multiple Gmail email accounts and just purchased a Windows 11 computer. Upon installing and opening Thunderbird and adding my accounts, I discovered the first Gmail account inbox does not retain READ emails like it always had before. After reading them, they disappear and are only viewable in the All Mail folder. It seems I can only view UNREAD emails in my first account's inbox. However, the second and third Gmail accounts DO retain READ emails in their inboxes.

When you select the Inbox of your first G-Mail account verify if by chance you've activated the "Quick Filter" >> "Show only unread messages"

Quick filter is not active. I toggled quick filter on/off to check but it has no effect on the first account in the list. Quick filter works normally on the subsequent email accounts.
