Is possible to make Firefox for SYMBIAN S60 3rd and 5th edition?

Not at this time. There was some investigation work on Symbian early in 2009, but it's no longer on our roadmap due to the difficulty of the port and the lack of memory on current phones.

Wll firefox mobile work in a huawei 9105 device?

Try opera mobile 10

Wwill see Firefox on Symbian as soon as device makers (like Nokia) will have 1GB of RAM in their phone so that Firefox can eat it all up, just like on any device on which is installed :)

Thank God Opera has both Mobile and Mini working just fine for my Symbian phones.

Yes, you are right.... FF always ends up eating all the RAM, sooner or later :( . Anyway, most phones currently have 128MB, which, IMHO, should be enough to make a good port work.

I, personally, don't quite like opera, but Opera Mobile and Opera Mini are both "good enough", but I would really prefer Firefox.

To bee honest for firefox company, as i em allready using firefox on my laptop, but as for symbian..., don't wast your time, because we have got just to many internet browsers and that wery economic on data download, if it's somthing about firefox to be so much hungry for memory, symbians will not want that more than just to try ones and throw away, but maybe for new symbian4 if they build that devices with lot of ram and more powerfull. There is wery good internet browsers for symbian already, SkyFire, mini Opera, Bolt, JB5, ozone, UCWEB even google crome, but i use the most SkyFire and Bolt on my n5800xm.

thanks in advance for understanding.

Is Firefox compateble with Nokia N97 Symbian

more options

Stelios: No, firefox doesn't support symbian devices. Try: Opera Mobile (full javascript support, I even used to access online systems), SkyFire (save some bandwidth and support animations), Opera Mini (save bandwidth).

I have a nokia 5320.

mobile phones now have 128 mb ram and upto 80 mb available for user to use. i think this will be enough for firefox to run. as my nokia 5320 XM has 80 mb use able ram for me to use. this will support firefox.

Could you please link in your source?

There is no Firefox for Symbian because developers are afraid of having to do things right, not eat all memory and be at least as good as opera.

, It mean, Fennec also can't use on Symbian, WM or Blackberry OS due to other technical barrier (other then iOS), but Mozila development team still hope to let user use firefox freely "without anyone's permission", which may inculde messages like history record that stored on firefox's site.

But how about J2ME ver.?
