Upgraded to 3.6.4. Facebook crashes the app.

The auto-upgrader ran when I opened Firefox today. Am now at version 3.6.4, Mac. I also upgraded my Adobe Flash player to the latest version after the initial app re-start as was suggested. Facebook now crashes the app every time I go to it. Can't log in, doesn't even load, the app just crashes as soon as I type in the URL and hit return. FYI...

Same problem with random websites (BBC news etc.) - I'm running snow leopard (10.6.4) and also installed the flash update....

This sounds like a problem with Adobe, I assume you're not getting the same problem in Safari?

I had a similar problem after a Flash upgrade. I fixed it by uninstalling Adobe Flash and installing an older version of Flash (version 10,0,45,2)

An archive of old Flash versions can be found here:

Not every Facebook app is crashing, and even the ones that are crashing will run awhile before they do, but none of this happened until the recent update. I reinstalled Adobe & Macromedia per instructions from Mozilla chat, and it fixed it for awhile but now it's crashing again.

I don't want to do what the above solution suggests of going back to an old version of flash due to the warning about security holes. I just think Mozilla needs to look at this issue and send another update right away.

This is similar to the terrible update on a previous version of Firefox that did not play well with Personas, so I'm thinking something in the new update just doesn't play well with Flash. Not to mention that something in the new update caused it to grab an install date of 12-31-1969 instead of 04-22-2010. See attached screenshot.

Absolutely nothing works at all for me with 3.6.4.

All I get is a stupid message that claims that because I have a proxy server (which I don't), all connections are refused.

What have you done, Firefox?

How do I reverse the automatic upgrade back to 3.6.3, and then I can reume my web access?

Firefox was great until the auto upgrade this morning. Now it crashes on any site that has more than one script running. It's crashed www.latimes.com, www.facebook.com, www.volunteermatch.org and others. I've had to resort to using IE again, which I loathe, but since it's a work computer, I can't install any other browsers.

I'm having major issues in SuperPokePets which is dependent on Adobe Flash Player. I have 3 pets on this game and I play daily :(

I did the auto upgrade today and I keep getting Action Errors from Adobe Flashplayer 10 - something about a stacking issue?. It crashed my entire computer 3 times.

I use Ubuntu as my operating system and Mozilla Firefox (which was just updated to the new buggy version). Is this going to be fixed ASAP I hope? :(

Please make sure your Flash plugin is up to date: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/

If you're having issues with 3.6.4 and the Flash plugin, please take a look at Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again and increase the timeout as indicated.

I'm having the same problem as Ian McKay. Firefox upgraded and now I cannot do anything with the browser. IE won't work either. I can get my email via Thunderbird but Firefox 3.6.4 upgrade has jinxed my system. IE won't function nor will Chrome. I just activated my update of AVG and it worked as are my other computers' Firefox 3.6.3. HELP The halted computer is my primary.
