Firefox won't shut down. I am running 3.6.8 on a Mac. I haven't had this problem until recently.

Firefox won't shut down properly. I am running 3.6.8 on a Mac and usually I have to force quit to get it to shut down. This has only begun recently. If I knew how to roll back to a previous version I would and save you the trouble, but alas, I do not.

I'm having this same problem. I am going uninstall Firefox and install Google Chrome. This is ridiculous that there is NO solution Mozilla can provide us! I can't shutdown my Mac because Firefox won't shutdown. I got a script error message, tried to STOP or CONTINUE To no avail.

Seems this is an old thread, but I'm having the same issue with Firefox 9.0.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8.

Firefox takes forever to shutdown. Typically I'll lose patience after 2-minutes or so and force-quit. Happens often. Almost (if not) daily.

Would love to hear if anyone has experienced and has a resolve for this. Love Firefox but getting frustrated.
