I have been having some problem when I try to open up a certain wabsites it says "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?

" the given choices are continue or cancel. How do I stop this kind of security warning from popping out every now and then?

The devs consider this message so important that they haven't added a check box to disable it.

See http://mxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/source/security/manager/boot/src/nsSecurityWarningDialogs.cpp#262

You can avoid it by directly logging in via the secure website and not by clicking a button or link on a page opened via an http connection to avoid getting redirected back to the insecure page.
