When I open a blank tab a bing search bar is in the middle of the page. It is affecting my ability to send emails through Yahoo. I need to get rid of this bing bar, I don't even know why it is there to begin with, I did not give an ok for this to be installed with any of the software I have downloaded. Is there any way to get rid of this?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

You can open the about:config page via the location bar and do a search for bing via the Filter at the top of that page.
You can reset all bing.com related prefs via the right-click context menu to their default values.
