I got a notice to upgrade. Upgrade installed but apparently not compatible. OS 10.5.8

I received a security update notice. I installed the update. That was followed by a version update notice.

I installed the update which then said not supported on this architecture. Probably meaning the none-intel mac.

I'm running 0s10.5.8 on a 1.8GHZ power PC G5.

How do I get back to the proper version

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html for the 3.6.16 install. You should be able to just install the older version, and it will go over the last version. If that doesn't work, you may have to uninstall FF4 first. Make sure to not check the option to get rid of the data, and then you will keep your bookmarks and such.

I hope this helps you.

I wasn't sure if I had to remove FF4 beforehand but I just went back and installed the older version from a 3.6.12dmg file I had saved from last fall. Once installed I checked for updates and it went fine from there to 3.6.16.
