i think this is a plug in issue - but, i don't know which plug in or add on and I don't have a ton of time to sift through the support topics....have tried and not helping.

I downloaded and installed flash player - and it acts as if it is installed - but, I cannot find it anywhere....and I still get messages that I need to download it.

thanks - amy

[SOLVED] For Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, the other Windows OS's will be similar, follow the same principle for OSX.

1. Completely close out of Firefox 4 and Windows Live Messenger if you have it

2. Go to the Windows control panel and uninstall Adobe Flash Plugin, Adobe Flash Plugin X, start with the Flash Plugin first, if you don't have the Flash Plugin X, don't worry about it.

3. After they are both uninstalled, go to the downloads folder of the latest version of Adobe Flash player for Firefox, and run the install_flash_player.exe, it should install without a hitch

4. Now startup Firefox and go to any Youtube video or something that requires flash and you shouldn't be having a problem.

Adobe Flash Plugin X, was just something I also uninstalled just to make sure, I can't confirm that was the source of the problem but I uninstalled it just for good measure.
