Hovering over a menu link permanently highlights it.

Whenever I hover over a link in any menu it automatically highlights it, but with FF4 whenever I stop hovering over it, it stays highlighted until I close the menu and reopen it.Here's a screenshot.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

In Firefox 4 Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

I had the same issue, this Firefox 4 theme fixed it for me Here also I had to go to view=>toolbars and turn on the menu bar, Navigation toolbar, and bookmarks toolbar. After that I have had no issues with the highlighted menus as well as a few other issues I was having with flashing windows/tabs as my mouse ran across them. I also think this theme doesn't look to bad as well!

Hope this helps!
