Just updated to FF4. I have my mouse programed so when I hit a certain button it closes the currently active application, window, or tab. On FF3 it worked fine. Now with FF4 if I have multiple tabs open it closes all of them and closes FF. Is there a way of stopping it from doing this?

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I started FF in safe mode, default theme, and with all add-ons disabled with no help. When I try to close the active tab with the programmed mouse button it still wants to close all tabs and FF.
