I had to reinstall everything on a new disk (the old one crashed). I had backed up to a usb drive. I imported my bookmarks to firefox 4 from a jbon file (from firefox 3). Now the file menu is missing "open location", "close (window", and "close tab"). I can uninstall and reinstall, but I thought there might be a quicker fix. Also, if I import those bookmarks, will it mess up again?

See:

Some menu entries are hidden if you use the mouse and only appear if you use the keyboard to open the menu (Bug 626825).

You can see the difference if you use Alt+F to open the File menu or Alt+B to open the Bookmarks menu and compare that to what you see if you use the mouse to open the menu after you have made the menu bar visible by tapping Alt or by pressing F10.
