Using Firefox 4.0.1, the IBM SVC console and the IBM HMC console both have the last line of selectable items either cut off, or overlaying the prior row of displayed items. Junked version 4 and reverted back to 3.6.17.

If you try Firefox 4 again, please check whether this problem is caused by the new HTML5 rendering engine, which applies stricter HTML parsing. You can toggle it off like this:

(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.

(2) In the filter box, type or paste html5 and pause while the list is filtered

(3) Double-click html5.parser.enable to toggle it to false (it will turn bold).

Then reload the problem page.

Does that make any difference?

No Luck. Any ideas?

I have not tried yet. I also found it had problems launching the Java console window when accessing the individual LPAR's. V3.6.17 did NOT have this problem. I have downgraded for now, since Firefox 4.0.1 did not work for this.

This did not fix the problem. I do not have any issue with using the Java Console, though. Firefox 4.0.1 - would be really nice to see this fixed, has been a gotcha for me on occasion when I miss an LPAR or server.

The last row rendering problem is still present in FF5 on MacOS.

The problem continues in the new FF6, released this week. I have an issue with both the SVC and HMC.
