Whenever I try to print a web page, it comes out with very little content on each page, but a ridiculous number of pages. What should be a two-page printout, for example, will take 16 pages.

This does not happen when I print from Firefox on my computer at work. I would like to get my home machine functioning the same way.

Print preview shows the multiple-page error, so I don't think it's a problem with my Brother laser printer. I do not have this problem when printing from other applications. Nothing I do in page setup (from within Firefox) correctts the problem

{ Ctrl + P } then make sure that printer is selected in the Printer - Name box, then open Properties. Check the size of the Paper that is selected in the properties for that printer.

If that wasn't the problem, another thing that can cause that is very large Margin settings. Check that out in File > Page Setup = Margins/Header&Footer. If the settings look good there, do the reset for all the prefs for that printer as explained here.

This worked! Thank you. I had to reset all the preferences for my printer, but it did the job.

Much appreciated.
