For some reason, Firefox stopped reacting to ENTER in location bar. Also selecting a page from history drop box does not cause it to load. In short, to go to a page I have to choose it or type the address, and then click on green arrow. Why? It was always enough to press ENTER or select with mouse.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Yes, you were correct. In safe mode it works OK. Now I will have to find out which add-on caused the trouble. If I do, I will add this here.

Thanks a lot!

Got the li'l bugger. It was AVG Safe Search (from AVG antivirus). Oh well, AVG does other things well, so I can live without this one. :)

Thanks again!
