I just realized that the search toolbar item is an item and not a toolbar

For the longest time I was frustrated because the search toolbar item would be put on a toolbar where the item would be re-sized and would become ridiculously too small. I tried the customize feature and could not understand why I could not move it to a new line. The reason I was confused is that I thought the toolbar search item was actually a toolbar, not an item. I just realized that if I create a new toolbar and add the search item to it, than I will get the search item as long as I need on a line by itself (if I don't add anything else to the new toolbar). Could you please add in your toolbar documentation a description of this apparent problem, why it occurs and how to fix it. You should use the search item as an example and you should mention that this is most often a google search item as google is often the default search provider.

Thanks, Mario

If the location bar and search bar are next to each other then you can change the relative width of both bars by placing the mouse pointer between the two bars. The mouse pointer will then become a resizer that you can drag left or right.
The location bar (400) and search bar (100) have a flex property that makes them take all empty space that is available on a toolbar.
