Even when I delete all history, why does Firefox remember all my passwords, etc?

I put Firefox on my computer a few months ago. It did seem to help me search faster, but when I delete my history and want to "Clean up" my computer, Firefox STILL remembers all my passwords and sites I've visited. I want all of that cleared off of there. I do not want Firefox, or anyone for that matter, to remember my email addresses, passwords, sites visited or anything. How can I stop this?

Hi suzzmay,

Have you looked a the Knowledge Base article Password manager - Remember, delete, change and import saved passwords in Firefox There is a section on deleting passwords. The Password Manager is a really powerful tool.

Hopefully this helps!
