I just purchased a new computer and am ready to move from the old to the new. How do I get my old bookmarks to the new computer?

Hi,

The easiest way would be to copy the places.sqlite file from the old folder structure (Users\<Windows login/user name>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile folder>) and overwrite it in the exact folder structure after installing Firefox in the new PC. This would restore both bookmarks and history from the old profile. Please see this and this.
