I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to enter all my data into the computer as I'm paralyzed from the shoulders down, unable to input data any other way. When I click on a link that might be for YouTube or some other types of media devices, both Firefox and Dragon NaturallySpeaking will lock up leaving me up the creek without a paddle. Short of discontinuing the use Firefox as my default browser, I'm open to any and all suggestions you might have because Microsoft Internet Explorer is one program that I cannot stand using and I've been using Firefox since its conception and love it except for when it locks up.

Thank you very much and I'm open to any and all suggestions you might have short of uninstalling DNS because it's a must.

I've noticed a similar problem, which has started occurring only recently. If I'm dictating into Firefox 8 using Dragon NaturallySpeaking, whether it be into the search bar or into a Gmail compose e-mail window, Firefox can lock up without warning. The only way I've found to recover from the problem is to forcefully close Firefox using the Windows task manager.

EDIT: this error message titled "dd10edit" might be relevant - "COM returned an unexpected error code: Details are HOOKERR_CONNOTINJECT"

I was able to download and install Firefox 9.0 well I viewed the video presentation "thinking Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11.5 was going to lock up, even though would present Dragon was going to lock up, I wasn't the case!" Was this by lock, by design or by being a little more patient; that is the question?

Thank you much! –– Bruce
