Have purchased a new laptop which uses Windows 7. Would like to transfer bookmarks from old lap top which uses Vista to the new laptop

Chosen solution

On the Vista PC, open Firefox and click Bookmarks (Alt + B) > Show All Bookmarks and on the top left of the new window, click Import and Backup > Export Bookmarks to HTML.... Next on the new laptop you have to go through the same steps as above except for the last step where you have to choose Import Bookmarks from HTML... and browse to the file saved earlier.
