I have Firefox 8.0.1. How do I revert to a version prior to 5 so I can use the Google tool bar?

Will the functions I lost with Firefox 8 be restored (very) soon or will I have to go back to using Safari?

Hey pquinslo,

There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox. The add-on developer will need to update the toolbar so that it will be compatible with the newest version of Firefox. I would imagine that Google will be doing that fairly soon. You can find more information on recreating most of the Google Toolbar functionality in this article from the Google help documentation.

If you still want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article Install an older version of Firefox.

Hopefully this helps!
