about:home search button appears to have no function
When I open my Firefox browser, I land on the about:home page. There is the Firefox Logo, and below that is a text input box with a button that has the label "Search" on it. Under this is a page divider with no apparent function, and below that is the "Restore Previous Session" button (which is apparently the only thing on this page that works for me).
When I type the search parameters in the search bar on this page, and click the search button, nothing happens. As if there is no function assigned to the button. This is more of an inconvenience than an issue considering I can search from the address bar and the search toolbar, however I would rather have this fixed.
Chosen solution
Reset the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone pref via the right-click context menu to the default on the about:config page and close and restart Firefox to restore the about:home page to its default.
- Open the about:config page via the location bar
- Type in the Filter bar: mstone
- Right-click the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone line and select: Reset
- Close and restart Firefox
If that didn't help then delete the delete the chromeappsstore.sqlite file in the Firefox Profile Folder and repeat the above.

Thanks for the quick and simple solution. For a minute there I was debating on installing Chrome if I couldn't get this fixed.
