After I close Bookmarks list, a "white" copy stays on the screen
If I open , then close Bookmarks , part of that list remains in white at bottom of window , which is annoying.
Does not happen with IE 9

Try to disable hardware acceleration.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If disabling hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.
